This tobacco pipe appears quite elegant and performs very well, especially considering its affordable price. It comes with a stylish bag, tools, filters, a stand, and other accessories. The included card is particularly helpful for those interested in trying various types of tobacco. I am pleased with this purchase given its low cost and attractive design. I would consider buying it again if I need another tobacco pipe.
I found this Obetis rosewood pipe to be an excellent choice for a more relaxed smoking experience. The wood has a beautiful, deep grain and feels substantial in my hand, giving it a classic look and feel. As someone who appreciates a simple setup, I found that this kit includes everything needed to get started right away. The pipe draws smoothly, and the included filters help provide a cooler, cleaner smoke. I especially like the metal stand, which keeps the pipe upright when I set it down, and the small pouch makes it easy to keep the scraper and cleaners organized. It is a well rounded set that feels more expensive than it is, making it a great entry point for anyone interested in the hobby.
Looks great, feels good in the hand. Large bowl which is nice. I’m not sure what the piece of cork that came with it is for. I do wish that the filters were more of a standard size. They are nice but very thick and the ones I find in the store are a little longer and slimmer.
This is a great starter kit that covers all your bases. I've been using it for a month and find it easy to use and take care of. I think this is good for anyone who is just starting out and doesn't have any tools yet.The stem stays snug in the bowl; but a gentle twist can easily remove it for cleaning and to replace filters. The filters are a valuable addition to this kit as many beginners won't consider using them; but having them present encourages their use. The filters last me 7 to 10 sessions depending how much I pull through them. I usually do a light cleaning after every use, and a deeper cleaning with alcohol when I replace filters. I also make sure to keep the alcohol inside as I worry it may affect the outer finish on the wood. The cork's adhesive keeps it firmly in the tray, and it doesn't budge when I tap the edge of the bowl on it to empty the bowl when I'm done.I do not know why the metal screens are referred to as tinder balls, nor can I figure out how it helps when set on top. The metal screens work great at the bottom if you pack the bowl with a wetter or stickier filling. The metal filters also help me reduce burning out the bottom of the bowl. The stand fits the shape perfectly, and holds it with ease when not in use.The mouth guards are very easy to clean and work to keep the stem intact. The pipe cleaners fit into the stem snugly, working well to clean it out, and they also hold alcohol decently for deeper cleaning. The multitool is a solid standard to all kits, it's a jack-of-all when it comes to everything you'll use it for. Good for beginners who don't have the special tools for each function, and also easily portable. It fits the curve of the bowl decently well to scrape any residues when cleaning. The drawstring pouch is quite soft and helps cushion the bowl to prevent any nicks and scratches. The bowl does get warm rather quickly; but it cools down just as fast.I'm satisfied with this set, and appreciate that everything it includes works well together.
